BURLINGTON, Vt. – Lydia Doraz scored five goals for the second straight game and
Caitlin Haggerty secured career high numbers in goals, assists, and points on Saturday afternoon from Virtue Field, but it wasn't enough as Vermont (5-9, 1-4 AE) dropped its final home game of the regular season 16-14 to Bryant (9-6, 4-1 AE) in a hard fought conference battle during the teams annual Youth Day presented by Healthy Living.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont's Caitlin Haggerty scored an equalizer goal just 37 seconds after an opening tally from Bryant, her 18th of the season, pinning a free position attempt to the top right corner at the 13:15 mark of the first quarter, knotting the score at 1-1.
- Doraz snapped a three-goal scoring run from the Bulldogs, muscling her way to the front of the net and slipping a shot to the bottom right corner for her 36th goal of the season, cutting the Bryant lead in half, trailing by two goals, 4-2, with 6:37 remaining in the opening frame.
- Doraz struck again for her second goal of the game less than one minute later at the 5:49 mark, bringing the Catamounts back to within one goal, 4-3. Haggerty collected an assist on Vermont's third goal.
- Bryant's Isabelle Katter found the back of the net with four seconds left in the first quarter as the Catamounts entered the second frame down by two, 5-3.
- The Bulldogs got off to a hot start in the second, scoring three unanswered goals before Kendall Traveis tamed the surge, scoring her 10th goal of the season, making the score 8-4 in favor of Bryant with 12:21 on the clock until halftime.
- With 8:02 remaining until halftime, Doraz struck for her first half hat trick goal, making her defender fall with a deke and sniping a shot to the right side of the net, bringing Vermont to within four, 9-5.
- Doraz wasted no time scoring her fourth goal of the game just over one minute later, cashing in on a free position shot as the Catamounts came within striking distance down by three, 9-6, with 6:58 remaining in the first half.
- Haggerty found the back of the net for her second goal of the game with 2:18 remaining in the first half, pinning her shot between the Bryant goalkeeper's legs, making the score 11-7 in favor of the Bulldogs.
- Katter tucked one more goal before halftime for Bryant as Vermont entered the third quarter with a five-goal deficit, down 12-7.
- Karina Sethi opened scoring in the second half while being a women-up, collecting her 12th goal of the season just 30 seconds into the third quarter as Vermont cut the deficit to four, 12-8.
- Vermont capitalized on another women-up opportunity with 11:06 on the clock in the third, seeing Doraz set up Lindsay Lefebvre in the slot for her 10th goal of the season, cutting the Bryant lead down to 12-9.
- The Catamounts hit double digits on the scoreboard after scoring their third unanswered goal with 4:25 to go in the third quarter thanks to Meghan O'Connor finishing a play set up by Ava Wilde, pinning the top right corner for her 30th tally of the season as the Catamounts came within two, down 12-10.
- Bryant opened the final frame scoring back-to-back goals, but Vermont responded, scoring three unanswered goals of their own seeing Doraz secure her fifth of the game followed by Haggerty scoring two goals less than a minute apart from each other for her third and fourth tally of the game. The Catamounts were only down by two goals, 15-13, with 7:44 remaining of gametime.
