Field Hockey Set to Begin America East Play Friday at New Hampshire

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont (7-1) will travel to Durham, N.H., to face New Hampshire (1-5) on Friday, Oct. 2, at 3 p.m. at Memorial Field. Friday's match will be the America East opener for both teams and a rematch of the 2025 America East Championship game. The match will be available to view on AmericaEast.TV.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

Vermont enters Friday's match on a four-game winning streak after defeating Dartmouth, 2-0, on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Addie DelOrefice scored both goals against the Big Green, for four total points. She leads the Catamounts with 17 points on the season.
Following the performance, DelOrefice was named America East Offensive Player of the Week after totaling eight points on three goals and two assists, while Fiona McMahon earned Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording three points on three assists.
Ila Gunner has started all eight games in goal for the Catamounts and leads America East with four shutouts and a 1.10 goals-against average.
Vermont has outscored its opponents 33-8 through eight games and leads America East with 4.125 goals per game.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS

New Hampshire was picked to finish fifth in the America East Preseason Poll with 11 total points.
Addison Macneil leads the Wildcats with five points, two goals, and one assist this season.
Goalkeeper Kerigan Ross leads the America East with 9.83 saves per game, for 59 saves in six games.

FIELD HOCKEY ALUMNI WEEKEND

UVM Field Hockey Alumni Weekend will take place from Friday, Oct. 9, through Sunday, Oct. 11. Throughout the weekend, there will be opportunities to cheer on Team 48 for two games, enjoy coffee and breakfast with the team, participate in an alumni scrimmage, and reconnect with former teammates and coaches at a happy hour.
