Amy Kenworthy and
Natalie Schick each earned 18th place finishes as a quartet of Catamounts competed this weekend in the CSCAA National Invitational Championship in Ocala, Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- On Thursday the Catamounts opened the competition finishing 31st in the 200 Free Relay. UVM's combo of Schick, Kenworthy, Gabby Puryear-Lynch, and Jess Drozdowski finished in a time of 1:39.19. Akron won the event in an NIC record of 1:29.75.
- Also, on Thursday Schick placed 30th overall in the 50 Back with a prelim time of 25.81. Miami's Leah Treglia won the event in a time of 24.37.
- On Friday Schick placed 26th overall in the 100 Back with a time of 55.26. Treglia won the event again with a time of 52.72.
- On Saturday in the 200 Back prelims Schick reset her own varsity record for the third time this season. Her record time of 1:58.68 had her seeded 16th heading into the finals. She placed 18th in the finals with a time of 2:00.20.
- Kenworthy was 18th in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:52.98, setting a new personal best in the event.
WHAT'S NEXT
Amy Kenworthy will compete at the 2026 Aquatics GB Championships April 14-19 in London, England at the London Aquatics Center.
