BOSTON - The America East conference announced on Friday that 122 of Vermont's fall student-athletes achieved a 3.0 or higher-grade point average (GPA), earning them a spot on the Fall America East Academic Honor Roll.
A total of 89 fall student-athletes achieved a 3.5 or higher earning America East Commissioner's Honor Roll status. Vermont field hockey was one of nine America East fall teams to have 100% of its student-athletes earn America East Academic Honor Roll designation.
- Overall, 927 student-athletes (88%) had a 3.0 GPA or higher, a conference record.
- In total 680 (65%) made the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Nine programs had 100% of their student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll:
- UAlbany women's cross country and field hockey
- Bryant men's cross country, women's soccer, and volleyball
- Maine women's soccer
- New Hampshire women's cross country
- NJIT women's cross country
- Vermont field hockey
- America East student-athletes have averaged at least a 3.0 GPA in each of the last 20 years.
