BURLINGTON, Vt. – Three different Catamounts recorded hat-tricks for Vermont (6-5, 2-1 AE) on Saturday afternoon and took a 15-4 victory over New Hampshire (4-7, 0-3 AE) from Wildcat Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Although New Hampshire started the game up 1-0, Lindsay and Lauren Lefebvre quickly answered—each recording a goal—to put Vermont ahead 2-1 with 7:15 left in the first quarter.
- Lydia Doraz recorded a pair of goals, and Haggerty ripped a shot top shelf as Vermont went into the second quarter up 5-3.
- Halfway through the second, Jane Trauger and Maddie Erskine both recorded woman-up goals. Lindsay Lefebvre added another, and Vermont led 8-3 with 4:45 remaining in the quarter. Vermont went into the half up 8-3.
- Out of the second half, Haggerty recorded a free-position goal and a woman-down goal, which marked a hat-trick for her as the Catamounts led 10-3 with 7:21 remaining in the third quarter.
- New Hampshire would respond, and Maddie Erskine would notch a goal as Vermont went into the 4th quarter up 11-4.
- Early in the fourth, Erskine recorded her hat-trick with 13 minutes remaining in the game. Vermont led 12-4.
- Capping off the game, in the fourth, Ava Wilde and Lydia Doraz each scored, helping Vermont secure a 15-4 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Doraz finished with a team-high seven points on four goals and three assists, surpassing 100 career points in her third year with the Catamounts. She also led Vermont in draw controls (5), ground balls (3), and caused turnovers (3).
- Maddie Erskine and Caitlin Haggerty both registered hat-tricks.
- Ava Wilde and Lauren Lefebvre each recorded two assists.
- Ayla Shae had 10 total saves on Saturday with a save percentage of .714
- UVM outshot New Hampshire on goals 25-12 and 37-21 overall.
- The Catamounts caused seven turnovers, while the Wildcats caused only two.
- With today's Win, Vermont Mutual Insurance Group will donate $100 to The Ronald McDonald House through the Cat's Win, Community Win's initiative. Vermont Mutual has donated over $6 Million Dollars since launching their Charitable Giving Fund in 2014.
