BURLINGTON, Vt. – Jane Trauger tied a program record with eight goals in a single game, leading Vermont (8-6, 4-1 AE) to a win over UAlbany (10-5, 5-1 AE) on Senior Day at Virtue Field. With the win, the Catamounts have clinched a spot in the upcoming America East Playoffs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Catamounts opened the scoring with an unassisted goal by Trauger at the 13:05 mark of the first quarter to take the 1-0 lead.
- Trauger added two more unassisted goals in the first quarter. One at the 11:49 mark and another with 57 seconds remaining to complete the hat trick and give the Catamounts a 3-0 lead heading into the second quarter.
- The Catamounts went on a 6-1 run in the second quarter with Trauger, Lindsay Lefebvre, and Lydia Doraz all scoring two goals each to send Vermont into the second half with a 9-1 lead.
- UAlbany's Riley Forthofer opened the third quarter with a man-up goal at the 11:42 mark. The Catamounts responded with a 3-0 run, as Trauger scored back-to-back unassisted goals and Karina Sethi added her first of the game.
- The Great Danes scored two straight goals to start the fourth quarter. The Catamounts answered with goals from Caitlin Haggerty and Trauger to secure the 14-4 victory.
