BURLINGTON, Vt. - The Vermont field hockey program announced its full 16-game schedule for the 2026 regular season Friday afternoon. The Catamounts will host eight home matches at Moulton Winder Field.

UVM opens the 2026 campaign on Friday, Aug. 28, against the Huskies of Northeastern at 3 p.m. in the 28th all-time meeting between the two programs.

Vermont then embarks on a three-game road trip, beginning in Hamden, Conn., against Quinnipiac on Aug. 30 before traveling to Ann Arbor, Mich., for matchups against Kent State on Sept. 5 and Michigan on Sept. 6.

The Catamounts return to Moulton Winder Field on Friday, Sept. 11, to host LIU at 3 p.m.

Following the home contest against the Sharks, Vermont will travel to Fairfield, Conn., to face the Stags of Fairfield University on Sept. 20 before welcoming Merrimack to Burlington on Tuesday, Sept. 22, for a 4 p.m. contest.

The Catamounts then head to the Granite State for back-to-back road games, facing off against Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H., on Sept. 27, followed by a rematch of last year's America East Championship game as they face off against the New Hampshire Wildcats in Durham, N.H., on Oct. 2.

Vermont returns home to host Queens on Sunday, Oct. 4, at noon before welcoming UMass Lowell on Friday, Oct. 9, at 3 p.m., and App State on Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon.

The Catamounts resume road play on Oct. 16 with a trip to Albany, N.Y., to face the UAlbany Great Danes.

A two-game homestand follows, featuring matchups against Yale on Sunday, Oct. 18, at noon and Bryant on Friday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m. at Moulton Winder Field.

The regular season concludes on Oct. 29 in Orono, Maine, where Vermont will face the Black Bears.
