BOSTON — America East announced its 2026-27 women's and men's basketball conference schedules Tuesday. Women's basketball will open conference play on the road against Maine in a rematch of the 2026 America East Championship. Men's basketball will start conference play on the road at Binghamton.

Women's Basketball

The Catamounts will open conference play in Orono, Maine, to compete against the Black Bears on Thursday, Dec. 31.

To kick off January, the Catamounts will host the Binghamton Bearcats on Saturday, Jan. 2.

Following the contest against the Bearcats, the Catamounts will travel to Lowell, Mass., to face the UMass Lowell River Hawks on Thursday, Jan. 7.

Vermont will return to Patrick Gym to face New Hampshire on Thursday, Jan. 14.

After the contest against the Wildcats, the Catamounts hit the road again to take on the Bulldogs of Bryant on Saturday, Jan. 16.

The Catamounts will follow that road contest with a three-game home stand, facing UMBC on Thursday, Jan. 21, NJIT on Saturday, Jan. 23, and Maine on Thursday, Jan. 28.

Following the three-game home stand, the Catamounts will hit the road for two contests against UAlbany on Saturday, Jan. 30, and New Hampshire on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Following the trip to the Granite State, the Catamounts will host Bryant on Saturday, Feb. 4.

The Catamounts will travel to Vestal, N.Y., to play against the Binghamton Bearcats on Thursday, Feb. 11. They will return home for a contest against the Great Danes of UAlbany on Saturday, Feb. 13.

The Catamounts will then hit the road for two games against UMBC on Thursday, Feb. 18, and against NJIT on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Vermont will finish the season at Patrick Gym with a game against UMass Lowell on Saturday, Feb. 27.

Vermont enters the 2025-26 season seeking its 12th America East Championship. The Catamounts have the most America East Championships in America East history.

The Catamounts will begin their conference schedule on the road against Binghamton on January 2.

Vermont will host UMass Lowell on January 7, followed by a bye that weekend. The Catamounts will visit New Hampshire on January 14.

UVM will host Bryant on Martin Luther King Jr Day, January 18. The Catamounts will then begin a two-game road trip at UMBC on January 21 and NJIT on January 23.

Vermont will conclude January with a road game at Maine on January 28 and a home game against UAlbany on January 30.

To kick off February, the Catamounts will host New Hampshire on February 4, then travel to face Bryant on February 6.

Vermont will host Binghamton on February 11 before traveling to UAlbany on February 13.

The Catamounts will host defending America East Champion UMBC on February 18, followed by NJIT on February 20.

UVM will have a bye the following week before traveling for their final road game at UMass Lowell on February 27.
