Women’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Slate

BURLINGTON, Vt. - The 2026-27 women's basketball non-conference schedule was announced Tuesday afternoon. The Catamounts will play five road games, including two as part of the Puerto Rico Clasico. For the first time in program history, Oregon will visit Patrick Gym.

2026-27 Schedule | 2026-27 Roster 

  • Women's basketball will begin the season with an exhibition against Saint Michael's College on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

  • Following the exhibition, the Catamounts will host Keene State in their regular-season home opener on Monday, Nov. 2.

  • The Catamounts will begin the America East - Metro Basketball Challenge at home against Quinnipiac on Thursday, Nov. 5, before traveling to Fairfield, Conn., to take on the Stags on Sunday, Nov. 8.

  • Following the away contest at Fairfield, the Catamounts will play four straight home games, beginning with a matchup against Oregon on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Vermont will then host Lehigh on Sunday, Nov. 15, High Point on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Central Connecticut State University on Sunday, Nov. 22.

  • After the four-game home stand, the Catamounts will travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for the Puerto Rico Clasico. Vermont will face Texas Southern on Wednesday, Nov. 25, before taking on George Mason on Friday, Nov. 27.

  • The Catamounts will return to Patrick for a three-game homestand, hosting Stony Brook on Wednesday, Dec. 2, Scranton on Tuesday, Dec. 8, and Drexel on Sunday, Dec. 13.

  • Before the Christmas break, the Catamounts will travel to Boston, Mass., to take on the Terriers of Boston University on Sunday, Dec. 19.

  • To cap off non-conference play, the Catamounts will travel to Hanover, N.H., to take on Dartmouth on Monday, Dec. 28.

Monday, Nov. 2 vs. Keene St.— 6 P.M.

Sunday, Nov. 15 vs. Lehigh —  2 P.M.

Thursday, Nov. 19 vs. High Point — 6 P.M.

Sunday, Nov. 22 vs. CCSU — 2 P.M.

Wednesday, Dec. 2 vs. Stony Brook — 6 P.M.

Tuesday, Dec. 8 vs. Scranton — 6 P.M.
