BURLINGTON, Vt. – No. 18 Men's Soccer (5-0-2) will play in its final match of a four-match road trip against Dartmouth (1-3-1), traveling over to Hanover, NH on Saturday (Sept. 19) for a 7 p.m. kickoff time from Burnham Field. The non-conference contest against the Big Green will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

• The Catamounts prepare for their fourth consecutive road match, the final contest of a four-match road trip, most recently defeating CAA foe Hofstra in Hempstead, NY on Sept. 15. Luis Fischer connected with Islam Houssni in the 90th minute of play off a corner kick to earn Vermont the 1-0 victory, extending the squads unbeaten road streak to 17 matches (12-0-5) dating back to November 1, 2024.
• Vermont is unbeaten through the first seven matches of a season for just the third time in program history. ('26, '25, '65).
• Niklas Herceg extended his shutout streak to four consecutive matches, putting him at 21 career shutouts with the Catamounts, tied for fourth most in program history. Herceg's four consecutive clean sheets is a career high mark for the junior goalkeeper.
• Overall on the season, Herceg has notched five shutouts thus far, tied with UCF goalkeeper Matisse Hebert for the most clean sheets in the country.
• Vermont has a 16-23-8 all-time record against Ivy League member Dartmouth, currently holding a 2-0-1 record versus the Big Green since 2022.
• Vermont as a team leads the America East in several categories including Goal Differential (+10), Save Percentage (0.893) and Shutout Percentage (0.714).
• Fischer recorded his fifth assist of the season at Hofstra, tied for the America East lead in that department. Houssni registered his second game-winning goal of the season at Hofstra as well, tied for the America East lead in that category.
• The Catamounts have never trailed during the 2026 season, scoring first in six of the seven matches to begin the campaign.

 
SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN

• Dartmouth currently sits tied for sixth in the Ivy League, having yet to play a conference match. The Big Green enter Saturday with a 1-3-1 overall record.
• The Big Green have already played two America East schools this season, falling in both matches 1-0, first against UAlbany on Sept. 4 and most recently at No. 24 Bryant on Sept. 15.
• Dartmouth's lone win of the season thus far came on home turf, defeating Stonehill 2-0 on Sept. 7.
• The Big Green have scored three total goals in 2026, getting production from three different players. Junior striker Eidur Baldvinsson, senior forward Trenton Blake, and sophomore forward Noah Sams have all found the back of the net once for the Big Green.
