2014: Served as a tri-captain ... Saw action in 18 of 19 games and started 15 ... Picked up an assist in a 2-0 victory over Stony Brook.

2013: Started 16 of the 17 games he played in his first season at Vermont … Recorded his first point as a Catamount with an assist on the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw at Buffalo in the second game of the season … Also handed out assists in back-to-back game versus Hartwick and Dartmouth.

BEFORE VERMONT: Salmon, a defender, transfers to UVM after two seasons at Thomas University in Thomasville, Ga. ... Salmon, a native of Newcastle, England, ranked second on the team in scoring in both years at Thomas ... He earned all-conference second team honors in 2012 as the team went 12-6-0 and finished third in the Sun Conference.
