BEFORE VERMONT: Petruzzelli joined the Catamounts after three productive seasons with the Brooks Bandits in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) ... During the 2013-14 campaign, he led the team in goals (27) and points (53) as Brooks defended its South Division crown with 39 victories ... The previous season, he tallied 36 goals and 42 assists in 76 games as he led Brooks to the 2013 RBC Cup as national champions of Canadian Junior A hockey ...
