SENIOR SEASON (2019-20): Played 32 of 34 games between the pipes as a senior and finished the season with a 2.76 goals against average and .916 save percentage … Recorded his first shutout of the season at St. Lawrence (Oct. 19) … Added back-to-back shutouts in both Catamount Cup games, beating Union (Dec. 28) and Lake Superior State (Dec. 29) … Recorded his fourth shutout of the season in a scoreless tie at Maine (Feb. 22) … Recorded 30 or more saves 19 times and 40 or more saves twice … Became Hockey East’s all-time saves leader at Maine and finished his career fifth on the NCAA leaderboard with 3,913 saves … Graduates as UVM’s program record-holder in save percentage (.918) and in the top-5 in every other major goaltending statistic.

JUNIOR SEASON (2018-19): Saw action in all 34 games, earning a 12-19-3 record with a 2.27 goals against average, .930 save percentage, and one shutout… totaled 1040 saves in the season… recorded a career-high 48 saves at Michigan (Oct. 6) and Colorado College (Dec. 8) … tallied 30 and 36 saves in consecutive matches against Connecticut (Dec. 7 and 8) … totaled 38 saves on the road against Boston College (Nov. 8) … turned away 43 shots at Dartmouth (Nov. 24) … registered 30 saves against Maine (Dec. 1) … halted 36 shots at Colorado College (Dec. 8) … recorded 32 saves against Rensselaer (Dec. 29) … turned away 33 shots versus Sacred Heart (Jan. 4) … made 41 saves at UMass Amherst (Jan. 12) … tallied 30 saves at UMass Lowell (Jan. 19) … stopped 33 and 46 shots at Providence (Feb. 1 and 2) … totaled 31 saves versus New Hampshire (Feb. 9) … turned away 43 shots against Boston University (Fe. 22) … made 32 saves at UConn (March 1) … registered 30 or more saves in 17 games and 40 or more saves in six games.

Halted 31 shots in a winning-effort against UConn (Nov. 4) ... Turned away 41 shots against Boston College (Nov. 10) ... Registered 41 saves for the third time this season at Maine (Dec. 1) ... Tallied 35 saves in a win over UMass Lowell (Jan. 20) ... Posted a career-high 44 saves against No. 8 Providence (Feb. 2) ... Stopped 30 shots in a win over No. 8 Providence the following night (Feb. 3) ... Totaled 39 saves on the road at New Hampshire (Feb. 10) ... Stopped 36 shots in a win against Maine (Nov. 18) ... Made a season-high 40 saves in the Friendship Four championship game against No. 3 Quinnipiac (Nov. 26) ... Stopped 73 of 76 saves in the Friendship Four at Belfast, Northern Ireland (Nov. 25 & 26) ... Registered a win at home against No. 5 Boston University (Dec. 9) ... Recorded 30 saves in a win at home over Connecticut (Jan. 20) ... Stopped 30 shots in back-to-back nights at No. 11 Boston College (Feb. 17 & 18) ... Posted a 31-save shutout in Game 1 of the Hockey East First Round against Maine (Mar. 3) ... Turned away 36 shots in the Hockey East First Round clinching win over Maine (Mar. 4).

BEFORE VERMONT:  Lekkas joined the UVM goaltending corps after two full years as a starter with the Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL ... In 45 games in the 2015-16 season, Lekkas owned the third-best save percentage in the league (.924) and was named to the All-USHL Third Team ... He posted a 25-15-3 regular season record for the fifth-most wins in the league and finished the year with a 2.53 goals against average ... Starred during the 2014-15 USHL playoffs, leading the Stampede to the Clark Cup with a 2.10 goals against average and a .932 save percentage in 12 games ... He registered 23 wins during the 2014-15 regular season with a 2.76 goals against average and four shutouts.
