2011 OUTDOOR SEASON: Competed in the javelin at nine meets this season … At the 2011 America East Outdoor Track and Field Championships Henshaw finished fifth overall with a mark of 55.73m … At the 2011 New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships he won the competition in the javelin with a career best throw of 62.02m … Henshaw was named an All-New England performer for winning the title … Henshaw’s mark qualified him for the 2011 East Region NCAA Outdoor Track and Field meet.
BEFORE VERMONT: Was a member of the Football and Track teams at Cherry Hill High School West…Played Football for UVM and Lackawanna College…Was the Goup IV 2007 State Runner-Up in Javelin…2007 All-Conference Team for Football…2003 third place in bowling in the Maccabi Games.
PERSONAL: Son of Dan and Shelley Henshaw of Cherry Hill, New Jersey… Has two younger siblings, Jacob and Jillian…Is a Political Science Major with plans of being a Marine Aviator.
