BEFORE VERMONT: Paterno was an All-American and 100-career goal scorer at Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, New Jersey ... Registered 131 career goals and 36 career assists for the Pioneers ... Named South Jersey Times Player of the Year after guiding Clearview Regional to a South Jersey Group IV title as a senior ... Made the All-South Jersey Honorable Mention Team as a senior and participated in the U.S. Girl's Lacrosse National Tournament twice
