University of Vermont Athletics

With updated guidance from the Vermont Department of Health, the University of Vermont will allow a limited number of fully vaccinated family members into home athletic events—along with UVM students, staff, and faculty who are participating in the University’s Covid-19 surveillance testing program—according to the following guidelines: 

• Each student-athlete and coach participating (including visiting teams) is limited to two (2) family members who have completed a full COVID-19 vaccination cycle.
  •  A full cycle for a two-dose vaccine means that at least two weeks have elapsed since the second dose was received. 
  •  A full cycle for a single dose vaccine means that at least two weeks have elapsed since the single dose was received.

• Both UVM and visiting teams must send their pass list to athletic.tickets@uvm.edu by 7 PM the night before the contest.

• Family members may check-in beginning 30 minutes before game time. 
• Family members will check-in at ticket table at the entrance to the facility. They will sign for their complimentary admission and to attest that they have completed a full COVID-19 vaccination cycle. 
• Social distancing and mask wearing will continue to be required. Social distancing guidelines will apply to all spectators, even if they live in the same household. Athletics will have staff in the seating area to monitor and enforce compliance. 
• UVM students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis by showing their CatCard as capacity permits. Total capacity will remain within state limitation of 150. 
• Parking: Individuals without a valid permit to park in Gutterson Garage and Visitor Lot will need to pay for parking using the ParkMobile app from 7 a.m. -3:30 p.m. on weekdays. The Gutterson Garage and Visitor lot located in ParkMobile Zone 6001. On weekends, parking is free and permitted anywhere in the Gutterson Garage and Visitor Lot.
