SENIOR SEASON (2017): Competed in four EISA Carnivals … Placed ninth at UVM Carnival in giant slalom (2:18.2) … Came in 17th place at EISA Championships with a time of 1:16.29 in giant slalom … Started the year off with a 14th place (1:31.9) finish at St. Lawrence Carnival in slalom … Finished 16th (1:37.68) at Middlebury and 19th at EISA Championships (1:56.1) in slalom
JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Competed in 11 races ... Earned his first win in three years in the SL at the Bates Carnival in the second race of the season ... Posted seven top-10 finishes and was on the podium three times ... Was the runner-up in the SL at the EISA Championships ... Named to UVM's NCAA squad for the second time in his career ... Finished 27th in the GS and 23rd in the SL ... Finished his career with 10 podium appearances.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Returned to the slopes after two seasons plagued by injury … Earned his eighth podium during the men’s slalom at the Bates Carnival … Placed fourth in the slalom at the UVM Carnival … Was 12th in the giant slalom and ninth in the slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival.
2014 SEASON: Did not compete due to injury.
2013 SEASON: Did not compete due to injury.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2012): Earned a spot on UVM's NCAA team in his first season with the Catamounts ... Named to the NCAA All-America Second Team after finishing seventh in the GS race ... Helped Vermont win the 2012 NCAA National Championship ... Earned three consecutive podium finishes in his first three collegaite races ... Finished in the top-10 eight times ... Was named the EISA Alpine Rookie of the Year and was the EISA points leader in the GS ... Named to the EISA All-East First Team.
BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from the Mount Mansfield Ski Academy ... Is the son of former Vermont baseball standout Jim Farrell '82 who is in the UVM Athletic Hall of Fame ... Spent two post-graduate years skiing independently on the FIS Eastern Cup Circuit, winning an overall championship in 2011.
