2012 SEASON: The team captain started all 18 games … Led the team in points (10) and assists (4) … Was tied for second for the team lead in goals with three … Tallied a season high three points on a goal and assist against Kent State ... Also scored goals in games versus Lock Haven and Maine.


2010 SEASON: One of only five Catamounts to start all 18 games … Finished fourth on the team with six points, while leading Vermont with four assists … Also recorded two defensive saves, which tied for the fourth-most in the America East … Recorded assists in each of Vermont’s first two games of the season … Netted her first career goal in the season finale at Dartmouth.

2009 SEASON: Started all 18 games for the Catamounts in the backfield … Finished second on the team with four defensive saves on the season.

2008 SEASON: Made five appearances for Vermont as a freshman.

BEFORE UVM: Izzo will continue her career close to home after playing at Stowe High School ... The 2007 Times Argus Field Hockey Player of the Year, she was also named Capital League First Team in each of the last two seasons ... Izzo helped Stowe win four straight Vermont Division III Field Hockey State Championships and was a member of the 2007-08 Twin State team ... A two-time team captain, she has also been involved in the USFHA Futures Elite Program from 2005-08 and played in the National Futures Tournament in 2005, 2007 and 2008.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Ed Izzo and Jill Boardman ... Has two siblings, Kevin and Kerry ... Is a business major.
