BEFORE VERMONT: Baessler comes to Vermont from Reading, Pa., where she attended Governor Mifflin School District … she competed as a midfielder for both field hockey and lacrosse … served as a team captain during her junior and senior seasons … Baessler earned All-Division honors in 2022 … was named to the All-State Second Team in 2023 and the All-State First Team in 2024 and 2025 … garnered All-Conference recognition three times (2023, 2024, 2025) … was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Todd and Nicole Baessler … has three sisters, Makayla, Madyson, and Mia … chose Vermont because of the beautiful scenery on and around campus, as well as the welcoming UVM community ... cites her three sisters as her biggest influences as an athlete … favorite movie is Grown Ups … favorite TV Show is Vampire Diaries … favorite musician is Frank Ocean … favorite athlete to watch is Serena Williams … and favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
