2013 SEASON: Saw action in 15 games, including three starts ... Finished the season tied for third on the squad in assists (2) and fourth in points (2) ... Picked up assists in contests vs. UC Davis and Maine ... Placed second on the team with two defensive saves

2012 SEASON: Started all 18 games … Had two goals which came against James Madison and Yale ... Tallied assists against Boston U. and in the season finale vs. Harvard ... Led the team in shots with 53.

2011 SEASON: Played in all 17 games, making 12 starts on the year … Tied for the team lead in assists with three, while also adding two goals for seven points on the year … Earned an assist in each of the first two games of the year against Boston College and Massachusetts … Added an assist in a win over St. Louis … Scored a goal in back-to-back wins over Siena and Dartmouth.

2010 SEASON: Appeared in 12 games as a freshman, making one start (Albany) … Recorded two shots on the year.

Coach Houghton on Snickenberger: “Sally impressed us with her vision and strength with the ball - she is a tough competitor who can create attack and is always a threat with the ball.”

BEFORE UVM: Snickenberger played at Wellesley High School, where she was named the Bay State League MVP as a senior after leading the league in scoring … She was named a Bay State League All-Star on three occasions and was the MVP of her high school squad twice … A team captain as a senior, Snickenberger was also named to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Teams … She also competed in the U.S. Futures Program (2007-10) and National Field Hockey Festival (2006-09).

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Walter and Wendy Snickenberger … Has two older brothers, Alex and Mark … Her father Walter played football and hockey at Princeton, while her mother Wendy played basketball and lacrosse at Dartmouth … Brother Alex played golf at Boston College and Mark plays football at Hamilton College … Is an elementary education major.
