• America East Goalkeeper of the Year (2022)
• America East All-Conference First Team (2022)
• America East All-Conference Second Team (Fall 2021)
• America East Commissioner's Honor Roll (2017-18, 2021-22)
• NFHCA All-Academic Squad (2017-2021)

GRAD SEASON (2022): Started all 18 games in cage … posted a career-best 1.40 goals against average giving up just 26 goals in over 1,000 minutes of action … finished with 82 saves for a 0.759 save percentage … posted four shutouts … made double-digit saves (10) in a victory over Boston University (Sept. 11) … named America East Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 20 … just the second UVM goalkeeper to be named America East Goalkeeper of the Year … graduates as the all-time leader in wins (39) and games played (82) … has four of the top-five single season GAA of all-time … finished career with 13 shutouts, 391 saves and a 1.68 GAA.

REDSHIRT SENIOR SEASON (Fall 2021): Started all 18 games in cage … posted a career-best 1.50 goals against average giving up just 27 goals in over 1,000 minutes of action … finished with 87 saves for a 0.763 save percentage … posted four shutouts … made a career-high 14 saves against Syracuse on Aug. 29 … ranks third all-time with 26 career wins.

SENIOR SEASON (Spring 2021): Started all 10 games in a shortened 2020 spring season … posted a career-high 1.61 goals against average giving up just 17 goals in 632 minutes of action … finished with 49 saves for a 0.742 save percentage … won a gold medal representing the United States at the 2021 Indoor Pan Am Cup in Pennsylvania.

JUNIOR SEASON (2019): Started in all 17 games during her junior season ... She finished the season with 85 saves for a save percentage of .708 ... Held a 2.04 goals against average. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018): Started all 19 games in goal for the Catamounts as a sophomore … Finished the year with 88 total saves for a save percentage of .682 … Averaged 2.18 goals allowed per game.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2017): Did not see game action for the Catamounts in her first season ... Won a gold medal while representing the United States at the 2017 Pan-American Indoor Cup, hosted by Guyana.

BEFORE UVM: Four-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Colonial Forge High School in Virginia ... Received All-Conference First Team recognition each of her last three seasons and also earned a spot on the U-19 Junior Indoor National Team ... As a sophomore in 2014, Espeland backstopped Colonial Forge to a conference title ... Was a two-time regional semifinalist (2013-14) and also reached the regional quarterfinals twice (2015-16) ... Named to Virginia's All-State Second Team (2014) as well as All-Region First Team (2014) and Second Team (2015) ... Also played varsity soccer and lacrosse while in high school.
 
PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Eric and Nancy Espeland ... Was born in Alexandria, Virginia ... Has one younger sibling, Ashley ... Chose UVM in part for the academic rigor as well as the chance to pursue field hockey ... Is a fan of The Office ... Enjoys listening to Sia ... Was accepted into the UVM Honors College and would like to pursue physics as an academic concentration.
