SENIOR SEASON (Spring 2021): Appeared in all 10 games and finished her career with 63 career games played … dished out two assists to finished the year with two points … tallied assists vs. UMass Lowell on March 31 and vs. UC Davis on April 15.
JUNIOR SEASON (2019): Played in all 17 games, started in 16 ... Finished the season with a personal high 13 points with three goals and seven assists.Â
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018): Started all 19 games as a sophomore … Scored three goals and two assists for a total of eight points … Scored the lone Vermont goal at #11 Syracuse (8/24)
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017): Played in all 17 games and made nine starts for UVM in her first season ... Scored her first collegiate goal against Dartmouth (9/15) ... Added first career assist against Albany (10/20).
BEFORE UVM: Came to Vermont from Vestal High School in Upstate New York, where she lettered in field hockey and bowling ... Is from the same hometown and high school as classmate Bailey Matthews ... During her junior year, Melfi represented Region 4 (New York) at the USA Field Hockey U-19 National Futures Championships ... Finished her four-year career at Vestal scoring 35 goals and assisting on 23 others, reaching the New York State Semifinals multiple times ... Her senior season included a career-high 18 goals, doubling her total from her junior campaign in 2015 ... Captained the Golden Bears in 2016 and was named a New York Section IV First Team All-Star ... Also was a First Team All-Star in 2015 and received Second Team honors in 2014 ...
