2012 SEASON: Started in all 18 games after being named team captain to start the year ... Tallied the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over Siena … Led team with 18 shots on goal ... Also had a goal against Brown.

2011 SEASON: Played in and started all 17 games … Finished third on the team in goals (3), assists (2) and points (8) … Scored the game-winner and set up the first goal with an assist in a 2-1 win over Cornell … Tallied a goal against both St. Louis and Harvard … Also had an assist in the win over Dartmouth.

2010 SEASON: Played in all 18 games as a sophomore, making 16 starts … Finished tied for the team lead in goals scored (7) and was also second overall in points (14) … Three of her seven goals were game-winners … Scored both of Vermont’s goals, including the game-winner in the second overtime, in a 2-1 victory over Pacific … Netted the only goal of the contest in a 1-0 win over Siena … Recorded a team-best 19 shots on goal.

2009 SEASON: Played in 14 games for the Catamounts as a freshman, making five starts … Recorded an assist in a 3-0 win over UC Davis … Notched a season high three shots on goal at Brown.

BEFORE UVM: Silvestro will join the Catamounts this fall after playing for Walpole High School in Walpole, Mass. ... Silvestro had a big senior year as she was named the Bay State League Herget Division MVP, the Daily Transcript Field Hockey Player of the Year, a first team all-star and led the Bay State League in scoring ... She was also chosen for the “Best of 60” Field Hockey Game in Massachusetts and was named to both the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic teams ... Silvestro led Walpole to the South Sectional and Bay State League championships last year ... She has also competed in the USFHA Futures Elite program in each of the last four years, the National Futures Tournament in 2007 and was a Junior Olympic alternate in 2007.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Domenic and Randi Silvestro ...Has two brothers, Jay and Andrew ... Is an elementary education major.
