2009 SEASON: Was UVM's top runner in all six races he competed in … Finished his career as UVM's leading runner in 16 career races … Placed second overall at the Pre-America East Championship and UMass Invitational … Ran what is believed to be a UVM-best ever time of 24:34 at the Paul Short Invitational … Posted a career-best third place finish at the 2009 America East Championships, leading UVM to fifth place in the team standings … He finished the race with a time of 25:34.80 and his performance was the best by a Catamount men's runner since 2001 when Jamie Carmichael placed fourth overall at the league championship … Maisey earned all-conference honors for his efforts … Finished 10th overall at the New England Championships for the second straight year … He became the first Catamount since 1996 to earn back-to-back top-10 finishes at the New England Championships … He earned All-New England honors for his effort.

2008 SEASON: Finished the season as Vermont’s top runner in every race he participated in … Ran in five races on the year … Placed in the top-10 in all five races … Named the America East Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week twice (10/14/08 & 9/16/08) … Claimed victory in the McGill Open with a time of 19:13 … Placed sixth overall with a 25:53 time at the UMass Invitational … Captured first place at the Vermont State Cross Country Championships with a 26:57 mark … Finished eighth overall at the New England Cross Country Championships with a time of 24:58 to earn All-New England honors … His eighth-place finish was the first top-10 performance in the New England Championships by a Catamount runner since 1996 … Placed 10th at the America East Championships garnering All-Conference honors.

2007 SEASON: Recorded two top 10 finishes this season ... Placed 28th overall on a time of 18:42.23 at the Stony Brook Invitatonal ... Finished 10th overall at Massachusetts on a 25:39 mark ... Recorded a 26:20.40 time at the Murray Keatinge Invitational ... Captured first place at the Saint Michael's Invitational with a 26:32 mark ... The Catamounts swept the top 10 to win the event ... Placed 32nd overall at the America East Championships with a 27:27.4 performance ... Top Catamount finisher at the NCAA East Regionals.

2006 SEASON: Was the second Catamount across the finish line at the Harry Lang Invitational (4,200 meter race) in his collegiate debut ... Finished fifth overall with a time of 14:36.00 ... Vermont finished second overall among the team standings ... Was Vermont’s second best runner for the second consecutive race at the McGill Open ... Placed 13th overall with a time of 20:04.7 for the 6K course ... Was the second Catamount across the finish line at the Murray Keatinge Invitational (26:00.51) ... Finished fifth overall at the Saint Michael’s Invitational to lead the Catamounts to their third win in the team event in three years ... Placed third among the Catamount runners at the New England Championships men’s varsity race ... Was the fifth Catamount across the finish line at the America East Championship, helping the Catamounts earn its best finish in four years.

BEFORE UVM: Competed on the cross country and track and field teams at Wissahickon High School ... Was the captain of the cross country team in 2005 ... Named to the all-league first-team in cross country and led Wissahickon to the AAA District Team Championship in 2005 ... Team placed third overall at the state championships ... Led the 4x800 relay team to second place in the state championships in indoor track ... 4x800 team took third place in the state championships during the outdoor season ... Team captured the league championship in outdoor track and field in 2006.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Stephen and Joanne Maisey ... Has an older brother – Evan who attends Kutztown University ... Is a recreation management major.
