SENIOR SEASON (2012-13): Played in all 36 games on defense and posted five points ... Skated in his 100th career contest against No. 4 Minnesota (Nov. 24) ... Scored in the first period at No. 5 Boston College (Feb. 1) for his only goal of the season ... Picked up assists against No. 10 Dartmouth (Dec. 5) and No. 19 Boston University (Mar. 2) ... Finished his career with 125 games played.
JUNIOR SEASON (2011-12): Skated in 33 of 34 games on defense, setting new career-highs with 10 assists and 10 points on the year ... Was a fixture of the Catamounts' second defensive pair ... Named to the Hockey East Top Performer List twice ... Recorded his second career multi-point game with a pair of assists against New Hampshire (Nov. 12) ... BEFORE VERMONT: Franzon played for the Nanaimo Clippers in the British Columbia Hockey League in 2008-09 ... He scored eight goals and had 12 assists for 20 points in 58 games ...
