Recorded an assist in his collegiate debut at No. 7 North Dakota (Oct. 11) ... Scored his first career goal at Maine (Nov. 9) ... Netted the game-tying goal and had a season-high five shots vs. Dartmouth (Jan. 3) ... Registered a goal and an assist for his first career multi-point game at Boston University (Jan. 25) ... Collected a pair of goals in Game 1 of the Hockey East Quarterfinals at No. 8 UMass Lowell for his first multi-goal effort (Mar. 14) ... Notched assists in Games 2 and 3 to finish the series with four points. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Shaw was invited to Montreal Canadiens Development Camp in the summer of 2013 ... Spent the majority of the 2012-13 season with Mike Santaguida, Mike Stenerson, and the Surrey Eagles after being traded early in the season from the Coquitlam Express ... Posted 38 goals and 70 points in 54 regular season games between the two teams ... Led Surrey in scoring and ranked second overall in the BCHL in goals and fifth in points ... Went on to register 31 points in 27 playoff games as the Eagles won the BCHL Championship and the Western Canada Cup before falling in the semifinal of the 2013 RBC Cup.

PERSONAL: Braeden Shaw the son of Brad and Mary Shaw of Ottawa, Ontario ... Father played 11 seasons in the NHL for the Hartford Whalers, Ottawa Senators, Washington Capitals, and St. Louis Blues and is currently an assistant coach for the Blues ... Attended Parkway West High School in Ballwin, Mo. ... Also played soccer in high school ... Lists Alex Steen as his favorite athlete and the St. Louis Blues as his favorite team ... Majoring in economics.
