Biography
SENIOR SEASON (2019-20): Captained the Catamounts for the second consecutive season and played in all 34 games … Posted six goals and five assists for 11 points … Tallied first career power play goal at Boston University (Nov. 23) … Had a goal and assist against Yale (Jan. 7) … Recorded first career game-winning goal in Vermont’s win over 12th-ranked Northeastern (Feb. 28) and added another goal in the win over the Huskies the next night. Led the team with 77 shots on goal and chipped in 16 blocked shots.
JUNIOR SEASON (2018-19): Played in 33 of 34 games, posting five goals and 13 assists for 18 points… scored the opening goal against Quinnipiac (Oct. 13) … scored Vermont’s second goal in a 2-2 tie versus UMass Lowell (March 8) … recorded two assists against Rensselaer (Dec. 29) … assisted the opening and winning goals in a 3-2 victory against Sacred Heart (Jan. 4) … tied for most assists and ranked second for most points… finished the season with 65 shots and 20 blocks
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18): Skated in 34 games, posting three goals and eight assists for 11 points ... Registered his first point of the year in the season opener with an assist against Colorado College (Oct. 6) ... Assisted on the game-tying goal against New Hampshire (Oct. 28) ... Tallied an assist in a win at UConn (Nov. 4) ... Recorded an assist on the road at No. 12 Northeastern (Nov. 17) ... Assisted on the goal that forced overtime in a win at Dartmouth (Nov. 25) ... Added an assist on the game-tying goal at Maine (Dec. 1) ... Registered a multi-point night with a goal and an assist against UMass (Jan. 12) ... Netted two goals including a shorthanded marker in a weekend series against No. 8 Providence (Feb. 2 & 3) ... Recorded an assist in the Hockey East First Round at UMass (Mar. 2) ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17): Skated in 37 games, registering 4 goals and 14 assists for 18 points ... Recorded two assists in his collegiate debut at Clarkson (Oct. 7) ... Assisted on the game-winning goal against No. 13 Michigan (Oct. 28) ... Registered his first career goal against Maine (Nov. 18) ... Scored the game-tying goal and added an assist at home against Maine (Nov. 19) ... Chipped in two goals in the Friendship Four against Massachusetts and No. 3 Quinnipiac (Nov. 25 & 26) ... Posted two assists including a helper on the game-winning goal against No. 5 Boston University (Dec. 9) ... Added an assist at home against No. 12 Union (Dec. 17) ... Registered a career-high three points with three assists at home against Northeastern (Jan. 7) ... Tallied an assist at No. 11 Boston College (Feb. 18) ... Finished the season with 48 shots on goal, 21 blocked shots, and a plus-4 rating.
BEFORE VERMONT: Lodermeier brought size to the middle of the ice after serving as a captain for the 2016 AJHL champion Brooks Bandits ... A South Division All-League selection, the forward came off a standout offensive season with 60 points in 58 regular season games to rank third overall on a team that won a division-best 49 games ... He was second on the squad with 26 goals and recorded a team-best 24 points in 13 playoff games during the AJHL championship run ... The Minnesota native then added a point-per-game as he led Brooks to the RBC Cup Semifinal ... Lodermeier also skated for Brooks in 2014-15, finishing with 22 points and 99 penalty minutes in 52 contests.
