Registered a team-leading 60 blocked shots, which was good for a tie for sixth in Hockey East ... Blocked a season-high seven shots against Colorado College (Oct. 6) ... Registered his first point of the season with an assist against New Hampshire (Oct. 28) ... Tallied an assist against Boston College (Nov. 10) ... Recorded an assist at home against Brown (Dec. 9) ... Netted his first collegiate goal at home against UMass Lowell (Jan. 19) ... Added two assists the following night in a win over UMass Lowell (Jan. 20) ... Registered a goal in the Hockey East First Round at UMass (Mar. 1) ... Finished the season with 44 shots on goal.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17): Saw action in 29 games, registering seven assists ... Skated in his collegiate debut at home against Clarkson (Oct. 8) ... Recorded his first career point with an assist at No. 20 Omaha (Oct. 22) ... Assisted on the game-winning goal at home against No. 5 Boston University (Dec. 9) ... Tallied an assist at home against No. 16 St. Lawrence (Jan. 3) ... Added an assist in the Hockey East First Round against Maine (Mar. 3) ... Finished the season with 33 shots on goal, 28 blocked shots, and a plus-7 rating.

BEFORE VERMONT: Massie was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the sixth round of the 2015 NHL Draft and his rights were traded to the Chicago Blackhawks later that summer ... He attended the Blackhawks' summer development camp earlier this month ... The defenseman accumulated 10 points in 44 games in the 2015-16 season while skating for the USHL's Omaha Lancers ...
