SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019-20): Skated in 28 games as a sophomore, making the move to defense after four games … Finished the season with seven assists … Added 46 shots on goal and 14 blocked shots.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018-19): Skated in 33 of 34 matches, posting two goals and five assists for seven points… assisted the game-winning OT goal against Connecticut (Nov. 3) … chipped in a goal and an assist at UMass Lowell (Jan. 18) … earned a pair of assists versus Merrimack (Jan. 25) … had one assist in a 4-1 victory against New Hampshire (Feb. 9) … finished the season with 36 shots and six blocks. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Ranked second in the NCDC last season with 62 points on 21 goals and 41 assists in 50 games, averaging 1.24 points per contest ...  Had stints in the NAHL and WSHL during the 2016-17 season, logging 35 points in 31 games ... Added eight goals in nine playoff games for the Idaho Jr. Steelheads ... Spent parts of two seasons with the USHL's Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, registering 14 points in 39 games during the 2015-16 campaign for the Anderson Cup regular season champions ...  Posted 18 points in 18 games with the USPHL's Boston Jr. Bruins earlier in the 2015-16 season ... Was a four-time USPHL All-Star and MVP at the U-16 and U-18 levels.

PERSONAL: Son of John and Dawn DeRoche … Recorded 62 points in his final high school season … Earned High Honor Roll every year in high school… Majoring in Business.
