CAREER HONORS:
• Hockey East All-Academic Team (2012-13, 2013-14)

SENIOR SEASON (2015-16): Skated in 37 games with five goals and two assists .... Began his point tally with an empty-net goal against No. 9 Minnesota (Oct. 10) ... Added an assist at Northeastern (Oct. 29) ... Netted a goal at home against Massachusetts (Nov. 15) ... Scored the game-winner on a shorthanded breakaway against Lake Superior State to open the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Cup (Dec. 29) ... Netted the game-tying goal against Massachusetts (Jan. 23) ... Recorded a goal at home against No. 2 Boston College (Feb. 19) ... Finished the season with 58 shots on goal and 25 blocked shots.

JUNIOR SEASON (2014-15): Skated in 40 of 41 games and ranked eighth on the team in scoring with 16 points ... Posted career-highs with seven goals and nine assists ... Ranked second on the team with three game-winning goals ... Netted his first career hat trick, added an assist, and was a plus-4 in the 6-2 season-opening win at No. 16 Northeastern (Oct. 11) ... Named the Hockey East Player of the Week the following Monday (Oct. 13) ... Tallied his second game-winner of the season vs. Maine (Nov. 8) ... Sealed a win over Air Force in the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Cup with an empty-netter (Dec. 28) ... Had a goal and two assists in a weekend series at No. 10 Boston College (Feb. 13-14) ... Scored the game-winner in overtime to beat Maine in Game 3 of the Hockey East First Round (Mar. 8) ... Posted an assist against No. 12 UMass Lowell in the Hockey East Semifinal (Mar. 20) ... Closed the season with 61 shots on goal.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2013-14): Played in 33 games with three goals and three assists for six points ... Totalled 45 shots on goal for the season ... Picked up an assist in his season debut at No. 7 North Dakota (Oct. 12) ... Registered a goal that stood as the game-winner vs. St. Lawrence (Dec. 14) ... Also scored on the road in a victory against SLU (Jan. 7) ... Notched a power play goal in Game 2 of the Hockey East Quarterfinals at No. 8 UMass Lowell (Mar. 15).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2012-13): Skated in 32 games and posted eight points on three goals and five assists ... Ranked second among all freshman on the team in scoring ... Had a multi-point game with a goal and an assist in just his second career game at Merrimack (Oct. 26) ... Registered a goal and an assist at Providence in a 4-4 come-from-behind tie (Dec. 20) ... Named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Dec. 24 following the performance ... Assisted on the game-winning goal at Northeastern (Feb. 15) ... Netted his final tally of the year against No. 5 New Hampshire at home (Feb. 22) ... Posted an assist at No. 19 Boston University in a 5-2 road victory.

BEFORE VERMONT: Turk spent four seasons with the Okotoks Oilers in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) and was a teammate of Caylen Walls in 2011-12 ... Was also a teammate of Catamount forward Kyle Reynolds for three years (2008-2009 to 2010-2011) ... He is the Oilers' all-time leader with 182 games played ... Also the team's second leading all-time scorer behind Reynolds with 153 career points ... Set new career-highs in goals (30), assists (32), and points (62) during his final season and led Okotoks in all three major offensive categories.

PERSONAL: Jonathan Turk the son of Bill and Jane Turk of Calgary, Alberta ... Has a younger sister Madison who plays for the women's hockey team at the University of Western Ontario ... Attended Central Memorial High School in Calgary ... Lists the Anaheim Ducks as his favorite sports team and Teemu Selanne as his favorite athlete ...
