JUNIOR SEASON (2025): Played in 18 games, earning two starts... She scored four goals and tallied four assists in her first season as a Catamount… She played a career high of 90 minutes against Binghamton (10/26/25)... Madeline was named America East First Team All- Conference. 
 
BEFORE VERMONT: Gardner comes to Vermont after transferring from Regis University, where she played for two seasons… She led the Rangers in 2024 with seven goals, including three game-winning goals… Gardner was named to the First-Team All-RMAC.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Gabriele and Brook Gardner… Plans on majoring in Computer Science… Has a twin sister Grace who attends Oregon State… Gardner chose UVM because of the culture on the team, the competitive environment, and the excellent Computer Science program at UVM… Her biggest influence are her parents and strength coach Sean Wells… Gardner recalls her favorite movie being “A Star is Born,” while her favorite TV Show is “Gossip Girl”… Gardner’s favorite athletes to watch are Tobin Heath and Sophia Smith… Her favorite sports team is the Portland Thorns.
