JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16): Skated in eight games and recorded one goal ... Netted the game-winning goal for his first point fo the year against No. 13 St. Lawrence (Dec. 11) ... Saw action in one Hockey East Quarterfinal game at No. 3 Boston College (Mar. 12) ... Ended the year with eight shots and a plus-1 rating.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15): Skated in 16 games and posted five points, including four goals and two multi-point games ... Scored his first career goal in a 2-1 road win at No. 16 Providence (Nov. 15) ... Collected his first collegiate multi-goal game with a pair of tallies a week later at UMass (Nov. 22) ... Had a goal and an assist on the road against No. 10 Boston College ... Closed the year at a plus-2 with 23 shots on goal.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14): Skated in four games, including one in Hockey East play at Maine (Nov. 9) ... Had four shots on goal.

BEFORE VERMONT: McKinney played his last three years of junior hockey with the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL ... During the 2012-13 season, he collected 16 points, nine goals, and three power play goals in just 34 games ... Posted a 53-point campaign in 2011-12, ranking fifth on the team in goals (21) and sixth on the team in scoring ... Had 22 points in 56 games for the franchise during the 2010-11 season.
