SENIOR SEASON (2019-20): Skated in all 34 games as an assistant captain … Posted two goals and nine assists for 11 points … Assisted on Misley’s empty-net goal at St. Lawrence (Oct. 19) … Posted two assists for his 50th and 51st career points in Vermont’s 4-2 win over 12th-ranked Northeastern (Feb. 28) … Added a career-high 65 shots on goal and 19 blocked shots … Finished fourth in Hockey East and 15th-nationally with a 59.1% success rate at the faceoff dot (94-for-159).

JUNIOR SEASON (2018-19): Saw action in 30 of 34 games, posting three goals and six assists for nine points… assisted Vermont’s first two goals at Michigan (Oct. 6) … earned the assist for Vermont’s only goal at Boston College (Nov. 8) … netted the opening goal plus an assist at Dartmouth (Nov. 24) … scored the opening goal at Colorado College (Dec. 7) … made Vermont’s first goal during a power-play against Merrimack (Jan. 25) … assisted opening goals against New Hampshire (Feb. 9) and at Northeastern (Feb. 15) … finished the season with 58 shots and 10 blocks

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18):  Skated in 28 games, tallying five goals and a team-leading 13 assists for 18 points ... Tallied his first point of the season with a goal at home against No. 14 New Hampshire (Oct. 28) ... Netted the game-winning goal at UConn (Nov. 4) ... Assisted on the lone goal against Harvard (Dec. 30) ... Registered three assists including one on the game-winning goal in the weekend series against UMass Lowell (Jan. 19 & 20) ... Netted a goal and added two assists in a series sweep against Merrimack (Jan. 26 & 27) ... Recorded an assist on the game-winning goal against No. 8 Providence (Feb. 3) ... Tallied two assists in a 2-1 win at New Hampshire (Feb. 9) ... Registered two goals and two assists in the Hockey East First Round at UMass (Mar. 1 & 2) ...  Finished the year with a team-high plus-3 rating

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17):  Skated in 31 games, recording eight goals and five assists for 13 points on the year ... Finished the season with a plus-one rating ... Scored his first collegiate goal at home against No. 13 Michigan (Oct. 28) ... Chipped in the game-tying goal at No. 16 Northeastern (Oct. 30) ... Netted the game-winning goal at Massachusetts (Nov. 12) ... Registered his first career assist against Dartmouth (Nov. 15) ... Recorded his first career two-point game against Massachusetts in the Friendship Four Championship (Nov. 25) ... Tallied a two-point night at Providence with a goal and an assist (Jan. 13) ... Posted his first career two-goal game and a season-high five shots on goal at home against Connecticut (Jan. 20) ... Ended the year with 38 shots on goal. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Alvaro came to Burlington after two seasons with the Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL ... The forward finished fifth on the team in scoring with 30 points while serving as a team captain during the 2015-16 season ... In 2014-15, he posted 33 points in 58 games with Youngstown ... The Ontario native previously spent two years playing in the OJHL, registering 67 total points in 106 games for Oakville and St. Michael's.
