SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18): Skated in 36 of 37 games for the Catamounts ... Posted career-highs in goals (16), power play goals (8), and points (23) to lead UVM's offense ... Finished the season in a tie for fifth in Hockey East in total goals and 11th nationally in power play goals ... Tallied 3.9 shots per game which was good for fourth in Hockey East ... Won a team-best 52% of his faceoffs ... Registered his first point of the season with a game-winning goal against Colorado College (Oct. 6) ... Netted his first career hat-trick on a career-high 13 shots on goal at home against Colorado College (Oct. 7) ... Recorded a goal in back-to-back nights at UConn (Nov. 3 & 4) ... Potted a goal on the power-play against Boston College (Nov. 11) ... Tallied two power-play goals on nine shots to tie against Maine (Dec. 1) ... Registered a season-high two assists at Maine (Dec. 2) ... Recorded four points in a weekend sweep at Merrimack including the game-winning goal in overtime in the second game (Jan. 26 & 27) ... Added two assists in a win at home over No. 8  Providence (Feb. 3) ... Potted a power play goal against No. 12 Northeastern (Feb. 16) ... Netted a goal and assisted on the overtime game-winning goal in the second game of the Hockey East First Round at eighth-seeded UMass (Mar. 2) ... Finished the year with a team-high 140 shots while leading all forwards with 30 blocks.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17): Skated in 33 games, posting a team-high 12 goals and 15 assists to tie for second on the team in points with 27 ... Made his collegiate debut at Clarkson (Oct. 7) ... Registered his first collegiate goal at home against Clarkson (Oct. 08) ... Recorded his first career assist against No. 11 Michigan (Oct. 28) ... Tallied two goals and an assist for his first multi-point night and posted a season-high seven shots against Dartmouth (Nov. 15) ... Added a goal and an assist against Maine (Nov. 18) ... Chipped in two goals and an assist in the championship game of the Friendship Four vs. No. 3 Quinnipiac (Nov. 26) ... Scored an empty-netter in a win at home against No. 5 Boston University (Dec. 9) ... Added an assist against No. 12 Union (Dec. 17) ... Netted the game-winning goal on a power play against Bentley (Dec. 30) ... Posted a two-point game with a goal and an assist at Providence (Jan. 13) ... Registered a career-high four points with four assists in a winning effort against Connecticut (Jan. 20) ... Potted a goal at No. 17 Boston College in the Hockey East Quarterfinals (Mar. 11) ... Finished the year with 102 shots on goal.

BEFORE VERMONT: Colton was selected in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning, becoming the program's highest draft pick since Mike Paliotta's third round selection in 2011 ... An All-USHL First Team honoree, the forward was the league's second-leading scorer in the 2015-16 season with 35 goals and 66 points in 55 games for the regular season champion Cedar Rapids RoughRiders ... Colton was named MVP of the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, scoring the event's first-ever hat trick and adding two assists to finish with five points and a plus-5 rating ... The New Jersey native led Cedar Rapids to a league-best 40 wins while serving as a captain and closed the year with a team-high plus-32 rating.
