Chase comes to Vermont as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach. He spent the past three seasons as an assistant strength coach for the Colorado Avalanche, where he was fortunate to learn from and work with some of the best players and staff in the NHL.
At UVM he is responsible for designing and implementing training programs for the men’s and women’s hockey programs.
Chase earned his master’s degree in applied exercise science, is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and previously completed his undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at Colorado Mesa University.
His practical and applied experience primarily involve working with men’s and women’s hockey players of all levels (NHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA, junior hockey, AAA & AA youth). In June of 2020 Chase also founded Denver Human Performance which is responsible for training a wide variety of athletes in the greater Denver area.
