SENIOR SEASON (2017): Captained the Catamounts along with Hayden Jenkins, James Leary, Ian MacKay and Cam Milligan ... Started all 13 games in serving as a staple on defense ... Amassed 34 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers, both of which were second on the team ... Had a career-high seven ground balls at Mercer (Feb. 4) ... Logged his first goal of the season against Hartford (April 1) ... Chipped in five ground balls, two causes and an assist in a win at UMass Lowell (April 8) ... Added a pair of scoops against Stony Brook (April 15) and at UMBC (April 29) ... Was part of a group that started 3-0 for the first time since 2001.

JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Played in all 17 games ... Contributed two assists in a win over Dartmouth (March 29) ... Earned a start at Hartford (April 23) ... Scored his lone goal of the year in the America East Championship Game vs. Hartford (May 7).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Played in all 16 games and made seven starts ... Set new career highs in ground balls (88), caused turnovers (13), and all three scoring categories ... Led the team in caused turnovers and ranked second in ground balls ... Posted a career-high 13 ground balls at NJIT (March 3) ... Scored his first career goal at Sacred Heart (March 14) ... Registered an assist in three separate games ... Picked up multiple ground balls in every game of the season ... Had five or more ground balls in 10 games.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Appeared in six games for the Catamounts ... Registered four ground balls and on caused turnover.

BEFORE UVM: Comes to Vermont from Medfield Mass. and Medfield HS ... Named the Boston Globe DII Player of the Year ... Selected as the BostonLax.com Player of the Year ... Named a BostonLax All-American ... Was a team captain and MVP his senior year.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Brian and Donna Cox ... Has three sisters: Allison, Meredith and Melissa ... Also played hockey in high school ... Is a business major.
