Pat March

Pat March

Pat March wrapped up his second season as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont in 2014-15. He was hired in July of 2013 and came to Vermont after serving as an assistant coach at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. for two seasons where he was the offensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator.

March helped guide the Catamount offense to a mark of 12.13 goals per game, which was good for 11th-best in the nation. The UVM attack also finished 10th in the nation in assists per game (7.38), 11th in points per game (19.50) and 16th in man-up offense (.435 pct.).

During his two-year stint at Dickinson the Red Devils posted records of 15-4 (2012) and went undefeated in 2013 with an 18-0 mark. Dickinson earned a No. 2 national ranking in 2013 and won back-to-back Centennial Conference Championships, while also advancing to the NCAA Tournament both years.

Prior to joining the Dickinson staff, March was an assistant at Roanoke College, his alma mater, for one season (2011). The Maroons went 17-4 that year and advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament.

March was a two-time honorable mention All-American at Roanoke and scored 44 goals and 26 assists for 70 points as a senior.  He was an All-ODAC First Team selection as a junior and senior and was a three-time all-conference selection, earning second team honors in 2008.  March, who was also the ODAC Rookie of the Year in 2007, finished his career with 152 goals (2nd all-time at Roanoke), 91 assists (8th all-time) and 243 points (4th all-time).

March, who is the offensive coordinator for the Catamounts, earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice from Roanoke in 2011.
