America East Rookie of the Week (2/28/11)

AS A JUNIOR (2013): Appeared in four games and made one start for the Catamounts … Tallied two points on a goal and an assist at Dartmouth

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 13 of the team’s 14 games … Finished fourth on the team in goals (13) and fifth in points (15) … Scored a pair of goals at #14 Harvard … Recorded career-high for both goals (4) and points (5) at #1 Virginia … Followed that up with two tallies against Fairfield … Netted a hat trick, which included the game-winner that broke an 11-11 tie, in a win over Sacred Heart at home.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 13 games in his first season with the Catamounts, finishing fifth overall in goals scored (12) and sixth in points (13) … Netted multiple goals in a game five times … Led the America East in man-up goals, as seven of his 13 came with the Cats holding an advantage … Scored twice in each of his first two career games at Air Force and #16 Denver on his way to earning America East Rookie of the Week honors … Tallied two goals at #2 Virginia … Added two goals in a 15-5 win over Holy Cross at home … Scored twice against Hartford.

BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. … As a senior he scored 73 goals and added eight assists, as he was named a Prep School All-Star … During the 2008-09 season at Winchester High School in Winchester, Mass., he set a school record for 70 goals in a season.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Thomas and Annie McNamara … His father Tom played hockey at Vermont from 1973-77 … Majoring in community entrepreneurship.
