AS A FRESHMAN: Played in 13 of the team’s 14 games as a rookie … Finished the year with two goals and two assists for four points … Scored a goal and added an assist in his first collegiate game at #19 Colgate … Picked up a goal in Vermont’s 12-11 win over Sacred Heart … Added an assist in the 11-5 win over Binghamton.

BEFORE VERMONT: After battling injuries and only playing half of his senior year at the St. Paul’s School, he still finished the season with 10 goals and 14 assists … He helped his team win the 2010 MIAA Championship and also played soccer in high school.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Richard and Daisy Gutberlet … Has three sisters, Allison, Maggie and Caroline … Is undecided on a major.
