GRADUATE SEASON (2023): Started all 14 games at attack and finished the year with 26 goals and a team-high 23 assists … recorded a point in every game … tallied 12 multi-point games and three hat tricks … five goals in a game twice … graduates ranked second all-time with 96 career assists … scored his 100^th career goal in a win at Merrimack … only player in program history with 100 career goals and at least 95 assists … ranked second on the team with 40 ground balls and third qith nine caused turnovers … named to the America East All-Conference First Team for the second straight season.

SENIOR SEASON (2022): Started all 19 games at attack and finished the year with 29 goals and a team-high 36 assists – the fifth-most in a single season in program history (65 points)…led the conference during the regular season with 55 points…recorded a point in all but one game…tallied 17 multi-point games and four hat tricks…four or more assists in a game four times including a career-high six against Stony Brook (4/30)…ranks sixth all-time with 73 career assists…three straight games with six points (at UAlbany, vs Binghamton, at Stony Brook) to close out the regular season…named to the America East All-Conference First Team and the America East All-Tournament Team.

JUNIOR SEASON (2021): Started all 14 games at attack ... Named to the America East All-Conference Second Team and All-New England First Team ... FInished the year with 24 goals and 22 assists for 46 points - second on the team ... Named America East Offensive Player of the Week on May 3 ... Scored a career-high nine points on six goals and three assists in the regular season final vs. Stony Brook (May 1) - fourth-most points in a single game in program history and tied for the third-most goals ... Six points (3G, 3A) vs. UMass Lowell on March 3 ... Notched four points in the America East Championship game with a goal and three helpers ... Scored hat trick in the America East semifinals vs. Stony Brook (May 6) ... Tallied at least one point in all but one game ... Ranked eighth nationally with seven man-up goals ... Sits at 92 career points entering his senior season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020): Started all four games on attack as a sophomore … Finished the campaign with six goals and three assists for nine points … Posted two goals in Vermont’s win over Quinnipiac (Feb. 22) … Posted two goals and an assist in back-to-back games against Merrimack (Feb. 29) and Dartmouth (Mar. 7) to close the season. *

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019): Named America East Rookie of the Year after finishing the season with 25 goals and 12 assists for 37 points in 14 games ... Recorded a hat trick in his collegiate debut against Utah (Feb. 1) ... Tallied his second career hat trick against Holy Cross (Feb. 16) ... Finished with four goals against fifth-ranked Penn (Apr. 27) and four goals against UMBC (May 4) ... Finished the season with the seventh most goals and ninth most points by a freshman in program history ... Earned America East Rookie of the Week honors a program-record four times ... Finished the season with a .490 shot percentage, the top among all freshman and fifth overall in the NCAA ... Posted 10 multi-point games.

BEFORE VERMONT: Played lacrosse at Academy of The New Church and led his team to five consecutive League Championship from 2014-18 ... Earned All-League honors from 2014-18 and All-State honors in 2017 and 2018 ... Name an All-American as a senior ... Also played hockey and soccer in high school. 

PERSONAL: Son of Dave and Melissa Closterman ... Has one sister, Ava ... Chose UVM because he had a great connection with the whole coaching staff and the great lacrosse culture and location of the school ... Lists Step Brothers as his favorite movie and Friday Night Lights as his favorite TV show ... Intends to major in Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
