BEFORE VERMONT: Graduated from Mamaroneck High School … played both defense for lacrosse and full back for football … he and his lacrosse team were Section 1 Class A Champions in 2024 and 2025 … they also made it to the State Semis and were named Regional Champions in 2024 … he earned All State in 2025 … All Section and All League in 2024 and 2025 .. and was MVP in 2025. 
 

PERSONAL: Son of Dade and Stella Hayes … has one sibling, Margot … chose UVM because of the amazing culture and standard everyone holds themselves to … his biggest influence as an athlete has been his dad because he got him into sports … favorite movie is Elf … favorite TV show is Entourage … favorite athlete to watch is Josh Allen … favorite team is the Giants … and something people might not know about him is that he is 50 percent Russian.
