REDSHIRT SENIOR SEASON (2018): Earned First Team All-America East honors after leading the team in goals (39), assists (20), and points (59) ... With five goals in an 8-4 win, MacKay became Vermont’s all-time leading goal scorer in UVM’s semifinal win over Stony Brook (May 3) ... Recorded six hat tricks during the season, including six goals against Hartford (March 31) ... Finished 28th-nationally in goals per game (2.44) and points per game (3.69).

REDSHIRT JUNIOR SEASON (2017): Redshirted the season and will enter 2018 with one year of eligibility remaining.

JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Became first Catamount to earn America East Offensive Player of the Year ... Named to the America East All-Conference First Team and to the America East All-Tournament Team for the second straight season ... Led the team in scoring with 70 points on a team-high 42 goals and 28 assists ... Started all 17 games ... Collected 38 ground balls ... Scored 11 man-up goals ... Scored a season-high five goals and seven points in a win over UMBC ... Posted 13 multi-goal games ... Two-time America East Offensive Player of the Week honoree ... His 70 points in 2016 are the fourth most in a single season ... His 42 goals were the seventh most in a single season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Named to the America East All-Conference First Team … Ranked among the top-10 in America East in points (3.69) and goals (2.56) per game … Started all 16 games … Posted career highs with 59 points, 41 goals and 18 assists … Topped the Catamounts in goals, and finished second in both points and assists … Scored game-winners at UMBC and Binghamton … Notched 13 multi-goal games … Registered five points in six games, including the final four of the season … Tallied four goals and one assist in the semifinal matchup against Stony Brook.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Named America East Rookie of the Year … Selected to the America East All-Conference Second Team … Finished fifth among the nation's freshmen in total points (42) ... Ranked sixth in America East in points per contest (3.23) and ninth in goals per game (2.15) … Led all America East rookies in both points and goals per game … Named the conference’s rookie of the week a league-best three times … Tallied multi-point performances in nine of the team’s final 10 games … Registered a career-high seven points in contests vs. Boston U. and Sacred Heart … Scored three or more goals in six games … Notched the game-winning goal at Wagner … Finished fifth on the team with 30 ground balls.

BEFORE UVM: Comes to Vermont from Port Elgin, Ontario and the Hill Academy ... Member of Team Canada U19 squad in 2012 ... Was a team captain and team MVP in high school.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Dave MacKay and Patti Moss ... Has two siblings, Cameron and Eoin ... Also played hockey in high school ... Majoring in public communications.
