SENIOR SEASON (2023): Played in 12 games at attack…finished the year with a career-high 14 points on seven goals and seven assists…season-high three points twice at Utah on Feb. 18 and vs. Bryant on April 15.

JUNIOR SEASON (2022): Played in a career-high 12 games at offensive midfield…finished the year with five goals and four assists…season-high three points at UMass Lowell on April 9 with a goal and two assists…scored a goal in the NCAA tournament vs. No. 1 Maryland.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021): Appeared in six games at offensive midfield ... scored a goal and tallied an assist at NJIT (March 20) 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2020): Played in all four games and made three starts at offensive midfield … Fired two shots on goal against Dartmouth (Mar. 7). *

BEFORE VERMONT: Played lacrosse, soccer, and basketball at Garden City High School … 2018 All-State soccer selection and team captain … Part of the 2017 Nassau County and Long Island champion soccer squad … All-Conference and All-County in basketball as a senior captain … Helped the hoops team win three conference titles and one Nassau County title … Named tournament MVP of the 2018 New York State Lacrosse Championship as Garden City won the championship … Named All-County in lacrosse in 2019 as a senior … Won The Spirit of Garden City Award, given annually to the top male athlete.

PERSONAL: Son of Paul and Donna Basile of Garden City, New York … Father played lacrosse at Navy and mother played volleyball at East Carolina … Brother, J.P. plays lacrosse at Duke … Also has a younger sister, Elle … Chose UVM for its academic and athletic reputation as well as its location in Burlington … Had perfect attendance in high school … Undecided on a major.
