SENIOR SEASON (2017): Saw time in five games on the year, earning two starts ... Received the nod in UVM’s season opener at Furman (Feb. 2) after making seven saves ... Made a season-best 13 stops in relief against No. 8 Albany (March 18) ... Finished the year with an 11.58 goals against average ... Was part of a Vermont group that started 3-0 for the first time since 2001.

JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Emerged as the regular starter in net for the Catamounts ... Was a four-time America East Defender of the Week honoree ... Played in 15 games and started 13 ... Finished the year with a 10.38 goals against average and .538 save percentage ... Made 164 stops and earned eight wins ... Made a season-high 17 saves to help the Catamounts earn their first-ever America East Tournament victory with a 10-9 win over No. 14 Stony Brook in the semifinal round (May 5) ... Posted double-digit saves in nine games ... Also collected 37 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Played in 10 games in goal and made nine starts ... Collected three victories, including the first of his career at NJIT (March 3) ... Made 105 saves with a .461 save percentage ... Posted a season-high 21 saves at Georgetown (March 10) ... Registered five double-digit save performances.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Appeared in one game in net against Dartmouth (Feb. 25) ... Made one save.

BEFORE UVM: Comes to Vermont from Glastonbury, Connecticut and Glastonbury HS ... Was named Second Team All-State in 2013 ... Selected to the First Team All-Conference in each of his final two seasons.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Steve and Jodi Kaplan ... Has one sister, Julie ... His grandfather played football at UMass ... Is a business major.
