AS A SOPHOMORE (2009): Thomas played in all 14 games and posted seven goals and two assists for nine points … Was fourth on the team with 51 shots … Scored a goal in an 8-7 win at Marist on Feb. 28 in the season opener … Scored a goal in an 11-4 win at Bellarmine on March 12 … Scored in Vermont’s 8-7 against Hartford on March 28 … Had two goals in an 8-4 loss at Binghamton on April 10.

AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Thomas played in 13 games and made five starts … Scored six goals and one assist for seven points … Had one man-up goal … Recorded 20 shots … Picked up five ground balls … Scored the first goal of his career in an 11-7 loss at Brown on March 24 … Had two goals, including a man-up goal in a 7-5 victory at Hartford in the America East opener on March 29 … Was named the America East Rookie of the Week on March 31 for his performance … Posted a career high three points (2g, 1a) in 12-10 win at Marist on April 8.

BEFORE VERMONT: Played four years of lacrosse at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, N.J. … Named team captain as a senior and was First-Team All-Shore and First-Team All-Conference … He had 89 goals and 82 assists for 171 points in his career at CBA ... Also was a member of the Central Jersey Aquatic Club.
