FIRST-YEAR SEASON (2022): Saw action in three games…scored his first career goals against Canisius on March 26…caused a turnover against NJIT (3/19).
BEFORE VERMONT: Graduated from Northville Michigan where his played four years of hockey and lacrosse … played every position but attack and goalie in high school and was a First-Team All-State selection as a senior.
PERSONAL: Son of Caryl and Jonathan Wierengo … has three younger siblings – Maggie, Molly Kate and Piper … Chose UVM because of the strong lacrosse program and prestigious academics … Chose #23 because of Michael Jordan … Lists Gladiator as his favorite movie and the Chicago Blackhawks as his favorite sports team … Majoring in Business Administration.
