BEFORE VERMONT: Transfered to Vermont after spending his first two seasons at Hobart College … Appeared in one game as a sophomore in goal … Attended Brewster Academy where he served as a team captain and was named First Team All-Northern New England … Also went to Marshfield High School in Marshfield, Mass. where he was a three-time league all-start and two-time Eastern Massachusetts All-Star.
 
PERSONAL: Is the son of Peter and Lauren Bak … Has one older sister, Hilary, who graduated from UVM in 2009 … Is a political science major.
