AS A SENIOR (2011): Competed in nine races … Had a pair of top-10 finishes at the Dartmouth Carnival … Placed eighth in both the GS and the slalom … Was 13th in the slalom at the EISA Championships.
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Colpitts earned Second-Team NCAA All-American honors after finishing sixth in the giant slalom at the NCAA Championships on March 10 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. … Finished 19th in the slalom at the NCAA’s … Named to the 2010 NCAA All-Academic Team … Earned Second-Team All-East honors … Colpitts ranked third on the EISA circuit in the giant slalom ... Had five top-10 finishes on the season ... Was seventh in the giant slalom at the St. Lawrence Carnival on Jan. 15 ... Took sixth place in the GS at the Vermont Carnival at Stowe on Feb. 5 ... Was 24th in the giant slalom at the Vermont Carnival on Feb. 6 ... Finished 14th in the GS and 36th in the slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival on Feb. 13 and 14 ... Finished 26th in the giant slalom and 21st in the slalom at the Middlebury Carnival on Feb. 20 and 21 ... Skied to a 29th-place finish in the giant slalom at the Eastern Championships hosted by Colby on Feb. 28.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008): Colpitts competed in two carnivals in his first season ... Finished 12th in the giant slalom at the Vermont Carnival on Feb. 1 ... Posted his best finished of the year at the EISA Championships with a seventh-place finish in the slalom.
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Forest Charter High School in Truckee, Calif. ... Was a member of the Squaw Valley ski team from 1991-2006 ... Was named the Lake Tahoe Ski Education Foundation Skier of the Year in 2003 and 2004.
