AS A SENIOR (2011): Competed in 10 races and finished in the top-10 six times … Was sixth in both the 15k freestyle and 10k classic at the St. Lawrence Carnival to open the year … Finish sixth in the 20k classic at the EISA Championships to earn All-East Second-Team honors.
AS A JUNIOR (2010): Horst competed in five of six carnivals on the EISA Circuit … Named to the NCAA All-Academic Team … Had a season best 11th-place finish in the 10k classic at the Williams Carnival on Feb. 19 … Was part of the classic sprint relay team that finished fifth in the St. Michael’s Carnival on Jan. 23.
