2013: Started all 18 games … Scored two goals on the season, both coming in the final five games … Netted the game-winner in a 2-1 victory over Albany in the regular season meeting … Also added a goal against the Great Danes in the America East Tournament … Finished the season ranked among the America East leaders in assists (8th) and assists per game (9th).

2012: Started all 18 games on the year ... Was a part of a UVM defensive unit that allowed the fewest goals scored in America East on the year (17).

BEFORE VERMONT: Came to Vermont from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa ... Johnson was a member of the most successful class to ever play for the men's soccer program at Iowa Western ... In his two seasons the Reivers went 34-9-3 ... Iowa Western advanced to back-to-back national tournaments, won two ICCAC Conference Championships, a pair of Region XI titles and two Great Lake District Championships ... A team captain in 2011, he finished the season ranked second on the team in assits ... Johnson was a Region XI Honorable Mention selection in 2010 and earned second team honors in 2011 ... He was also the Region XI Sophomore Player of the Year ... Played high school soccer at Archbishop Denis O'Connor where he led the team to four straight L.O.S.S.A titles and a provincial championship in 2009.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Les and Paulette Johnson ... Brother Kyle played basketball at Long Island University and currently plays overseas in Cyprus ... Sister Chrystal attended York University ... Is a psychology major.
